Information collected

For an account: your chosen name, email, city, a password hash and an expiring session cookie. Email ownership is not verified in this pilot. For a field submission: your email, store address, observed product and price, device coordinates and accuracy, submission time, video file, video hash and a hashed network address for abuse limits. For a buyer request: contact details and your research need. For a privacy request: your email and request text.

How it is used

We use these records to review observations, prevent duplicates and abuse, show private receipt status, create city-level public field reports and evaluate buyer demand. We do not publish your email, exact coordinates or raw video as part of a field report.

Storage and access

Records are stored in the project database. Authorized reviewers can access raw footage and contact details through the private review desk. Public users can see reviewed summaries and the public fund ledger. Anyone with a receipt link can view its status, so keep the link private.

Retention and deletion

Account sessions expire after 30 days. The pilot has no automatic retention schedule for other records yet. Ask for access or deletion below. A reviewer can remove your account, submission and its video from the database. Public observations with personal details removed may remain if they can no longer identify you.
